Cozy Cabin overlooking the water

Vacation · Family.   We had a most enjoyable stay at this cozy cabin overlooking the water. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, with beautiful views and amenities including hot tub overlooking the water, paddle board, kayak and canoe. Hosts were very friendly and responsive when we had questions. Very convenient to both Skidegate and Daajing Giids. The hot tub is to die for

Absolutely beautiful place. Awesome covered deck

Stayed 2 nights and it was great. Incredible view, well stocked room with all kitchen utensils, a bottle of wine, coffee, tea, you name it! The Gift that our soggy nerves needed

Our Stay I don't have a google account so I can't leave a review there for you but Chris and I wanted to share our gratitude for your hospitality. Our trip put some challenges in front of us that we simply couldn't overcome and your place was a gift!  Your willingness to drop what you were doing and get us sorted for a stay was just what our soggy nerves needed. We have shared our stay at your place with many folks already and if we were to return to HG we would be once again looking to stay with you.

Nothing short of MAGICAL!

This home and property is nothing short of MAGICAL!  Jag and dog Leela and I enjoyed every moment and every little detail.  Haida Gwaii is a special place and we are grateful to have spent 2 nights here.  Thank you and blessings.

Tasmanians are reminded of our SW coast

Early July 2025 As Tasmanians (Australians too!) we are reminded of our SW coast but much more of NZ's Rakiva|Stewart Island, only much bigger.  If  you like Haida Gwaii then you might like to go there one day.  The view here has provided seals, otter, orca, baldies, kingfisher, but we saw the black Taan and cub near the Elephant cage.  We had a lovely, long, restful and relaxing stay.  A bit quieter than planned (both of us were sick in bed for several days with bad colds), but what a beautiful and comfortable place to convalesce in!  When we could get out we visited Tlell, Masset and Old Masset, the museum and a fabulous meal at Keenawaiis Kitchen.  Tonight we will go to Blacktail before catching the ferry - inside passage - south.  Thank you Norm and Lori!

We'd come back in a heartbeat

My husband and I loved our stay in the Club House at Chateau Norm! Norm and Lori are great hosts - responsive and super helpful with tips and information on local activities. The suite is clean and cozy, the bed really comfortable, and the view is spectacular from the deck, the dining table, or sitting in bed with a coffee in the morning. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Eagle's Welcomed Us

Wonderful place.  We were welcomed by many eagles when sitting outside.  Loved the accommodations.  Nice to have regular showers (full blast!) after 9 days on a sailboat with Blue Water Adventures in Gwaii Haanas.
